Mine is called a Strada…

YellowMobile

YellowMobile

and was made by a company named Bluevelo in Toronto, Canada.

The Strada is actually a compromise version of its older sibling, the Quest.  You can see the similarity…

Quest

Yes, they’re both yellow.

But also the Quest is a little bit longer than the Strada and the major difference is that the front wheels are encased by the body giving the Quest a definite speed advantage.

What makes the Strada appealing is that, because the wheels are on the outside, they have a bit wider stance and more stability in fast turns.  Also, the front wheels aren’t so confined, giving the Strada a tighter turn radius.  For my mix of country roads, city streets, and narrow bike paths, I felt that the Strada would be a good compromise.  I haven’t been disappointed.
